I am the Director of Partnerships & Customer Tamkeen (the Bahrain Labor Fund). We are responsible for creating a key link between the organization and different professional and business communities in Bahrain and for providing dedicated support and advisory solutions to key clients. I have cross industrial experience having worked as a marketing professional in the telecom and real estate sectors across different GCC countries. I have a fifteen year career in key GCC markets such as – Bahrain and United Arab Emirates where I was directly involved with marketing strategy and communications, and successfully launched of a wide range of products, services and retention programs. In my role as marketing manager for Sama Dubai I was primarily responsible for marketing the residential, commercial and retail components of a large-scale resort destinations (over $2bn) in Bahrain and Oman. I was also assigned to conduct market analysis on regional and international markets such as Vietnam, China and Morocco to test the viability of our product offerings in those markets. During this role I coordinated development programs with key governmental entities such as the Economics Development Board, the Royal Court of Bahrain and several ministries with the aim of aligning tourism strategies in Bahrain and UAE. I also single handedly planned and executed a project presentation to H.M.King Hamad of Bahrain in one of his palace's in 2008. In Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), I aided in setting up an account management unit, responsible for managing the needs of SMEs, the largest business segment. I worked interchangeably with sales, product and marketing teams to rollout products that filled specific market gaps, based on multidimensional levels of market analysis. I was also directly involved with the company’s first re-branding program as the telecom market was being liberalized in 2003 I have completed my Executive MBA at London Business School in 2010, where I focused in the areas of economics (Geo-politics for global careers, world Economy, emerging markets) and marketing (Marketing for hi-tech industries). I also hold a professional marketing degree from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Institute and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. I am currently pursuing a professional Coaching and Mentoring certificate from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).
