The entrepreneur started his business with a vision to empower young rural women to enable them to be skilled to improve the quality of their lives. Have networks available so that they may not be held hostage by their circumstances such as lack of skills. He started Remnant Couture to be a catalyst for growth for their families and communities.
Remnant Couture now Remnant Events and Manufacturing continues to gain skills and knowledge to better design its programming delivery model.
Global Entrepreneurship Network Namibia laid the foundation, social entrepreneurship boot camp of the US Embassy helped build the walls and the US State Department through World Learning attached the roof for an unlimited visionary operation to improve rural access to learning and skills building.
The business was acknowledged by Get in the Ring, a program of GEN Namibia, business pitching and recently JP attended several weeks of learning in the USA with World Learning funded by the US Government.
The entrepreneur says: “My believe is, that Social Entrepreneurship should be focused on People and Planet before Profit – a large portion to alleviating poverty.”
